ERIKA M. GASPAR
Erika Gaspar is an associate attorney for the Law Offices of Bowman|Foos. Her practice emphasizes employment discrimination, wrongful termination, contract disputes, landlord tenant issues, real estate litigation, general civil litigation and criminal law matters.
Prior to coming to Bowman|Foos, Ms. Gaspar had a civil law practice at Beyer, Pongratz & Rosen, and defended clients against criminal charges as a public defender for Sacramento County. Ms. Gaspar has represented her clients before juries, at mediation, and negotiated settlement agreements advantageous to her client. She has filed motions and pleadings in over five counties and in federal court.
Ms. Gaspar is a member of the State Bar of California and the Sacramento Bar Association. She is admitted to practice before all California courts and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California.
Prior to practicing law, Ms. Gaspar received a bachelor's degree in International Studies from Earlham College in Indiana and a masters degree in comparative politics from the University of Maryland College Park. She worked many years as a congressional staffer in the U.S. Congress, and for a federal agency. Ms. Gaspar has also supervised and managed staff in major non-profit organizations. Ms. Gaspar received her J.D. degree from American University Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C.
